So I have a 25 gallon tank. In it I have
1 Pictus Catfish
2 White Mollies
3 Swordtails
1 Guppy
1 Blue Gourami
2 Platies


Would I be able to get another Catfish? If so, what kind?

corydoras catfish bu they might get eaten by the pictus when bigger.

I'd say you're pretty fully stocked as you are. I personally wouldn't add anything else.

The pictus will outgrow the 25,and should be kept in schools anyway.Re-home the pictus and get a school of cories.

When it outgrows I will take it back and exchange it...

pictus like to be in 3's or more to be happy ..I agree with franklin about getting some cories and exchanging the pictus..unless you can get a bigger tank and get more pictus...they are a hoot and a ton of fun to watch ..but in the 25 gal, theres no room for more

how big is your pictus anyway? I used to have one, he seemed to get on with my peppered corys, but then he died of no reason. If you want to get catfish i would recommend corydoras.

The pictus will eat till it bursts. Corydoras will do perfect with each other.
