on your camera sherry, keep hitting buttons until you find a flower icon on the screen of the camera (assuming its a digital one) ...that is the macro setting..its the best for taking pics of fish..then you have to take 100 pics to get 2 good ones LOL

Yeah I did that and about 20-30 pics later I turned the camera off and found something a lot more fun to do....like clean a tank...hee hee. Just not a camera person. I'll have to get Michael on that for me since he has a bit more patience with a camera than I do.

I was just about to ask about how totake good pics of fish ! so its the flower icon ? I have tried so many diff ways and there are always bad pics !!

That's a great strike rate! I gave up on my camera. I found all these fancy settings that I'd try but never happy with, in search for the macro setting, then after this thread, I found the flower icon embedded on a push button right there on the back of the camera. Mind you, I had to get my trusty magnifying glass out!
I kept thinking "who'd put out a camera without a macro setting?" I think I spent about a nanosecond of my life looking at the instructions, but had no luck there either.
Of Course!! Flower Icon means closeup of flowers!! Please don't tell me that everyone else in the world knew that? (I was looking for a Fish Icon!?)

i just love ya!!!!!!!! and remind you, you still have to take 100's of pics to get 1 good one ..even in macro settings ...now that you are "macro ready" get the pics coming!!!!!!!!!
