| I kept one for a few years and it was one of my favorite fish. Mine spent all day out in the open, grazing on algae. These fish are slow-moving, extremely passive, and easily outcompeted for food, so mine mainly lived off the tank I suppose. If you ever have to catch yours for some reason, don't net it. They're so delicate they can be injured that way. Mine was so laid back that when I moved it to a new tank, it allowed me to just pick it up bare-handed, behind the head. When I lost my farlowella, it was easily 7 inches TL and I had kept it for several years. It was one of my toughest losses. |
