what does an egg sack (sac) look like

I have been trying to breed my Tiger Barbs. I noticed their is a spider webish looking deal all over my tank on plants and decorations. Are these the egg sacks that are created?
Also as soon as i noticed my females belly was no longer round i returned her and the male back to the community tank.
Am I on my way to success or just half way there?
Thank you~Jeremy

tiger barbs lay eggs which are scattered among the plants and gravel. If you allowed them to stay in the community tank, chances are the eggs have been eaten.

As for the webbish growth on your decorations and plants, it may be a type of algae
