Yes - have had the tank/stand for 20 some years. Have replaced pumps, etc over the years, and also changed decor inside. However, the ship in the tank now, was purchased when we originally bought the tank.

Beautiful tank. Those little multi-colored (glass?) fish in the upper right hand corner are cute

My husband has been looking after tropical fish for over 40 years. He also had some saltwater tanks when I first met him. Now we are down to the one tank, plus the pond outdoors which houses different types of goldfish, and a KOI which was 4 inches when we purchased him and is now 1.5 ft long. They live in the pond all year long as it is deep enough to keep them in the winter time here in Nova Scotia, Canada.

I hope my Angels were still alive. They were huge. They were about 6" or so from the tip of the top fin to the tip of the bottom. They were a mating pair too. They died when my tank started leaking one night and it only had about 6 inches of water I moved them to a plastic container until I fixed the tank but when i put them back three day later that night they died. I think it was too much stress.

I presently have one live plant in the aquarium - the rest are fake - I would like to eventually replace all the fake ones with live plants. Any suggestions for types of aquatic plants to put in that would also give colour to the tank and would go well with the types of fish that are in the tank?

My husband got a buddy to make the stand for my aquarium. It's solid oak and very nice and sturdy.

Yes, the glass fish float. They have little glass bubble things on top, attached to like fishing line which is attached to the glass fish.
