Pls gve me some Cichlid information

Im thinkin of goin for 2 or 4 cichlids for my tank. Its a 4 feet by 2 feet tank.
Hopin to get some that are interesting to watch and those that could easily mate.
So impatient to get a reply!!!

What kind of cichlids were looking to get into? African, South american or others?

I made my mind up on some oscars. So i bought 2 red oscars.
I already have another cichlid which i think is some sorta chinese breed.....but not sure wat its called.....very attractive though!!!
Could someone pls tell me wat this is (as shown in photo)

A Flowerhorn, a hybrid man made. Personally I think they are fake and ugly looking. JMO tho.

the easiest cichlid by far to bred is a pair of convicts, my friend has a pair and his water conditions are horrible and they still breed like crazy.

Very true,and by the info;if they are in a 10 gallon,there's going to be major trouble very soon.Oscars are highly territorial,and will kill ANY fish,that invades that territory,especially while breeding.In a 10 gallon,as babies,everything may be ok,but it is still way over stocked.They will grow to 9 inches in about 9 months,but you will either decide to get rid of them,or upgrade your size aquarium,within the 1st 2 months.(just a prediction)
