Agreed. Most fish if properly (slowly) acclimated to your pH will adapt quite readily. Ph adjusters tend to make the pH fluctuate. A steady, stable pH is much more comfortable and healthy for your fish than trying to make it "perfect".
If you have a fish that absolutely can't live at your ph more natural means of lowering or raising is available.
