Ph question

ammonia at 0, nitrite at o, nitrate 5-10 PPM, kh at 89.5, GH at 179, pH at 8.0
Now the question is pertaining to my relatively high ph. ph from the tap is 7.0 to 7.2. There is nothing in the tank except 6 zebra danios, plastic plants, two plastic decorations, gravel and of course some H2O. I saw the interesting thread on alot of aeration causing increased ph, and as I have a HOB filter and UGF I have real good aeration and would like to keep it that way, as I like the idea of high dissolved oxygen. So any ideas on lowering the ph without losing aeration, causing tanic stained water from driftwood or peat moss or using chemicals (yes, LFS already sold me some seachem neutral ph stuff). I know I have probably eliminated everything to be done to lower ph naturally but I quess what I'm looking for also is ideas what is causing my ph in the tank to rise above what comes out of the tank

Take some water from the tap and let it sit for an hour then test it.

The best thing is not to mess with it.....it's best to keep it stable.

Here is a link to know how to find out your true pH from the tap water....I've always let my water sit for an hour before adding to tank.
