Is my tank pH too high?

A couple days ago I checked my pH and it was about 7.8, i think. (Check my aquarium info). Is this too high for a 10g tank?

EDIT: Sorry, it was 7.4

No, it's not too high. Most fish will adapt to a fairly wide range of pH values, assuming they are acclimated properly.

Okay. I was just checking. Because I noticed most other people's pH is 6.8-7.2

Just adding that your PH levels should be relevant to the fishes you keep, not the size of your tank, okay sport.

6-7 as in, between 6 and 7, or like, all the numbers in the 6 range (like, 6.0-6.9) and all the numbers in the 7 range,(7.0-7.9) ?

my pH is anywhere between 7.2-7.6 depending on the tank (some have driftwood some dont, etc) and all of my bettas are happy, they've acclimated to it and it would be more stressful for me to try to change it than to just leave it as is

Okay. (I'm in this really hard to explain situation, where I want to get a betta, but I don't know where to put it :P)

Hehe. I don't have any, and today, I thought of about 7 good betta names, and it's just tearing me apart knowing I can't get even one
