pH for Lake Mawali and Lake Tanganyika

What if I plan on keeping both types of cichlids...what should I try to keep the pH at? What chemicals would you recommend, or are than any certain brands?

I don't know that much about cichlids but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to mix the different lakes.
Other members who know more about them can give you better advice.

I plan on having a few from each lake. I've done it before but didnt pay close attention to the pH. Any ideas on the pH ?
