If you can get some limestone to ad to the tank it will help raise the ph/hardness up. Also watch using stress coat that is one chemical I learned actually brings down your ph.
I would use novaquel plus for a conditioner.
You can also put cichlid lake salts in the tank if it stays low. I would only do that if you have not added your cichlids yet.
