Easy Balance and ph

Hi everyone

I just got Easy Balance from Tetra. Since I set up my 10gal tank (planted fishless cycle) my pH readings are now quite stable around 7.75 (using Tetra Laboret, the color lies between 7.5 and 8.0; Using Tetra 5-in-1 strips, it reads 7.6). I will get the API FW Master test on Saturday (never bad to double cross results, I guess).
I am concerned if Easy Balance would drop the ph to 7.0.
I bought Easy Balance since it seems to help keeping water parameters steady. I do have a problem with my source water: it either comes from the city system or from a subterranean well (and sometimes a mix of it) so far I have had different -although maybe not significant- ph, and GH readings from the "tap water source". I do weekly partial (around 25%) water changes (I enjoy doing maintenance it's not a drag for me at all) as I vacuum the substrate (apple snails keep the algae in line, but they do poo quite a bit).

Thank you in advance for your help

most fish will adjust to your ph happily. If you think about it your fish store will most likly have the same water as you. It is also more stressful for the fish to have a Ph that keeps changing than it is for one that usauly stays the same
