I am rebuilding my tank following a catastrophe - my tank was resealed because of a leak and when I reintroduced the fish all the fish and plants died - (apart from my pearl who I moved to a 10gal that I had). I think that the silicone must have made the water toxic - all the tests were fine - 0 ammonia, 10 nitrate 0 nitrite....but clearly the water was toxic. pH was fine and the same as the holding tank that i had them in while the repairs were being done.

So I have my pearl and am thinking about what to get - I noticed that my fish store has some blue rams and I have always quite fancied some of them - I was considering a pair of rams, my pearl and say 5 rummy noses (I lost mine in the disatser but I loved them). What do you think?

Blue rams and pearl gouramis are definitely compatible. Your stocking list sounds gorgeous! I hope you can share pics when it's all up and running
