More Tanks!!!

I just bought another tank today. Can't believe this MTS thing has conquered and taken over me. I'm not sure how many gallons this new tank is but it sure is different from any other tank I've seen and I can't calculate the gallons because the sizes are different. Like a pentagon shape. Bought the tank for only RM20 ($5.80).

So right now, I currently have 3 tanks! My 55 gallon which is currently running and filled with fish. An 8 gallon and this unknown gallon tank which is yet to be set up.

My family is planning to move me to a much smaller room which is downstairs than my current bedroom. The layout is pretty simple. I'll be getting a new bed which is a special bunk bed (bed on top, a lil' desk below the bed). Then, my mom is allowing me to have space for my 8 gallon. But now unexpectedly I bought a new tank so I 'think' I still have room for it. I'll keep everyone updated on my move.

Thanks for reading!

YAY! new tanks are deffinately fun! i have mine in my room, and i think its better because its where i am most of the time, and you can stare at them 24/7. If you do keep them in your room, i would suggest a moonlighting system. That way you turn it on at night and it looks really cool. I do that with mine and it is so darn peaceful lol

Congratulations on your new tank! There's a calculator at the bottom of the page that when you enter the dimensions, it'll tell you how many gallons your tank is.

Hope that helps! Can't wait for pics.

Moonlighting system? Sounds cool! I'll look into it and will definitely be having 1 or 2 tanks in my room. My parents were planning to move my 55 gallon into my room but I said NO WAY! My tank that size ain't getting in my tiny lil' room!

Thanks Bolivian, but I know about the calculator. Have been using it ever since I joined Fishlore. It's just I have a problem calculating the areas of this tank. Because it's like a 'pentagon' shape so it doesn't match the calculator's request of the 'length & width' blank. So right now I have to crack my head in using my math which I am 100% no good at!

Hmmm, sounds like we need a way to calculate "differently shaped" tanks. I wonder what the formula is?
