I just picked up an 8 gallon tank for free! Although I had to ask my mom to drive me to the place, 20 minutes away, it was worth it. Brought the tank home, washed it and cleaned it. Now I have to just drop by the pet shop to buy some gravel, and a light for it. I already have an extra liquid filter at home for it, so I should be fine from here. Can't wait to set it up! I'll keep everyone updated and post pictures when I fill it with water and start the cycle.

I was actually planning saltwater but then figured I didn't have enough cash to set it up before the end of this year. So I thought maybe just stick with freshwater. Mom suggested to put a few Guppies in it since my local store nearby has loads of Guppies with different color variations. Any suggestions on what gravel color I should get? I was thinking green+black to match my sunken ship. But maybe some members here have better thoughts than me?
