Good morning. Guess who has more Bloody Parrot eggs! Tada!!! Moi!
The same juvies have spawned again. Same place, inside the pot bellied terracotta urn. There are twice the amount of eggs this go round. I actually got to watch her expel the eggs yesterday. I'm in amazement every time. The female papilla was extended so far I couldn't believe it.
The parents are acting as parents should. Fanning the eggs, Daddy guarding the entrance to the urn. Feisty little dickens
I did a small gravel vacuum and water change yesterday. I knew something was up when they attacked me the way they did. Just before she started laying I vacuumed her urn too. I would like to think I saved her some of the trouble of cleaning.
Sorry, there isn't any way for me to get pictures of the eggs because of the way the urn is shaped. I'll keep you posted though Third time is a charm? We'll see.

Well Matt, chances are the males of these species are sterile. So I'm not really counting on having fry. I'd love it if it does happen but I doubt it will
