Good morning! I'm pretty sure they like to have some current in the tank. However, none of the aquariums listed in your aquarium information is going to be big enough for the Pacu. They grow to an enormous size. I've personally seen them grow to 26" in a 125g tank and had no room to turn around. IMO fish stores should not be selling these species for home aquariums.

we couldnt figure out how to add more than 3 tanks. we have 8 tanks going, with the pacu in a 75 right now. we have a 150 we got rooked on, it leaks. we will be resealing that and he will be rehomed into the 150 shortly. right now we have a aqua clear 110 and 70 on his tank with an underground filter with 2 powerhead 70 going. i wanted to know it the exhaust from the powerheads was to much for him

Wow! That's a log of tanks Good for you! I think with the filtration and powerheads you have on the 75g should be fine. Your filtration is approximately 800gph and for a 75g I would recommend at least 750gph. So that's cool! If he's not struggling I wouldn't worry too much.

okay was just worried about the current, he seams extremly shy for such a big guy
my first attempt at resealing failed, the front glass actually started pulling away from the side glass after about 24 hrs. i will try again sat, i want to find some sort of banding material, kind of like they use on frieght, no the metal but the plastic, or some sort of long starpping that can be cinched tightly
