Keeping zuchini / cucumber on the bottom

Please help, one of my oto's is a fatty, but the other one is skinny .. I think I need to supplement with some vegies.

HOW do you get the vegies to sink !?!?

It is raw, not boiled.

I have tried fishing line but it floats .. I did a quick search and it says to weigh it down with a paper clip !? How ?

Re: Keeping zuchini / cucumber on the bottom

If you microwave or boil it for long enough it will sink. This is also better than dropping in raw zucchini because the Otos need it nice and soft in order to eat it.

What about BNs? I know this is in the wrong part, but it is the perfect question.

NOICE !!

Thanks for that - how long should I keep it in the water for - I am sure that it will rot if it stays in there for too long ... or will the otos gobble it up in no time ? hehe I just can't believe how fat one is and how skinny the other is !! Maybe one is male, and the other female ?

Any other tips on how to ensure it does not rot in there ?
