Otos and Peas

I have two Bettas, Barney and Benji, that are in different tanks. I feed them peas weekly to keep them healthy. If I put otos in with them, could I put the extra parts of the pea in the tank for the otos to eat?

Barney is in a ten gallon and Benji is in a 5 gallon Kritter Keeper until I can get him a real tank. Both tanks are heated, filtered, and completely cycled.

The insides of the pea are fine but leave them in big chunks. They will love them. Be prepared to leave them there for a day or so as they like to have it age a bit. The zucchini I used to put in there for them used to just shred before they would eat it. I had to quit with some things because the bettas complained so now it is mostly cucumbers and carrot and spinach.

Thanks Rose.* I have been giving the extra pea half to my Pekichu puppy, so they have not been going to waste, but will definately be giving some to my otos too.* Maybe I will just fix extra peas!*
