Rounded Belly

This morning I noticed my Oto has a very round belly, like perfectly round. It seems plenty active and healthy, so I am not sure if I should be concerned... I hope he is ok

Otos should always have at least a slightly rounded belly. They eat constantly. It may just be that the oto has found a bounty of algae, or it could be a well-fed female with a load of eggs. Either way, your oto is probably doing well (if it was sluggish and round, that would be a different story).

Yup, that looks like a nice well-fed Oto to me, assuming he's acting normally

Awww, a little oto belly. lol
I agree with SDS, as long as he's acting ok, I wouldn't worry about it.

With that said, when I lost my otos, it started with a slight bloat, so keep your eye on his behavoir.

You did, here:

Breding Catfish?

Edit: lilytheqtpie, please excuse my rudeness in not welcoming you to the forum.

It's best to stick to one thread for a question. It makes it easier for you to keep track of the responses and easier for the members to know what's already been suggested.

RIP Oto.... Yesterday morning I found him at the bottom of the tank. All the levels are normal so not sure what happened to him.

I'm sorry you lost him.
The pic didn't really look that bad, but these little guys are pretty sensitive.
