wen i bought the lil guy at the store he was shooting all over the tank which in turn caught my attention and prompted me to buy him because he was so lively. after a few days he calmed down as my tank got murky due to lack of a filter but with his first water change hes gone psycho again. hes in a goldfish bowl but hes does like five laps in under ten seconds hes crazy. is this normal lol? i kno the conditions are bad but seeing as how he did this back in the store in a large tank that cant be the cause.

I'm sorry, but until you can get a proper home for your fish they're not going to act normally.

That said, my fish get pretty fiesty after getting a nice fresh water change.

What is your ammonia? Usually when a fish is acting different that is the first thing I check. Then check the rest of the readings including pH. If the fish is still not acting right I will do a 25 to 50 percent water change just in case it is something I am missing.
