I got them yesterday! They're in a 5g hex QT.

I picked up 5, 2 are going to a friend today.

The first night with new fish always makes me nervous, but all 5 are active this morning.

I learned a couple of things, they're very active, they're as cute as thought they were and they poop a lot.

Please excuse the scratches, it's an old tank.









His strip is black, but I guess the flash caught him.

Problem is, which 2 to give to my friend lol, I like them all.

I guess I'll choose which ever 2 are hanging together when I go to get them out of the tank.

I wish I could tell which are male and which are female. I've read the articles on how to sex them, but it seems rather vague.

Maybe what you think is a male is a skinny female. lol

When I had my 4 ottos, indeed it looked like I had one girl. They are larger than males, but only you will be able to notice with time.
