My otto wont eat

Hi I bought three ottos 2 days ago and I have been trying to feed them but they wont eat I dont know if its because they cant find the food or its because they dont like it. I read they dont like algea wafers too much but I tried them anyways and they didnt seems to eat it so no surprise there. Then I read that they LOVE cucumbers so i put one cucumber in water in the microwave for about 30 seconds so the cucumber gets soft then I dropped the cucumber in the tank for about 6 hours and when I looked back to check if anyone even nibbled on the cucumber no one did so I took out the cucumber I doont know if it was because they couldnt find it or because they didnt like it but 6 hours should be enough time for them to find it. What can I do to feed my otocinclus?

mines took a while to get used to the algae wafers, and didnt eat anything for the first 3 days, (hikari) but ended up eating them anyways.

if you can get your hands around some garlic juice, from a jar of minced garlic or some garlic guard, you can soak the wafers for a few minutes before adding them to the tank. Try to drop them near to where they are, or their hang out spot. Also, take into consideration that shy ottos will eat in the night most likely until they get used to their surroundings.

Are they eating algae in your tank? It might be that there is enough algae for them to eat for now.
