I will be having to get rid of my pleco (he is getting way to big) and i was wondering if i were to get some otos how many would i have to get for them to be comfortable and would my Striped Raphael Pick on them even though hes nocturnal?

I wouldn't put ottos in with your catfish...they are nocturnal too. Ottos should at least be in 3s or more.

ok Do u have any other ideas for fish like a pleco or oto that doesn't create such a bio-load like a pleco

You could get a smaller sized pleco, but you'd probably have to order it offline. THere are some that stay small enough to stay in a 29 gallon tank. http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog...species_id=677 This one only gets 5" and there are others that are a little smaller as well. That one you can find at exoticfinds.net for 12$ shipping is just expensive. Its also called an inspector pleco if you could find one on aquabid.

I don't mind having plecos but the one i have right now is becoming aggresive towards my other fish any idea why.

Maybe due to lack of space it is feeling cramped and lashing out at the other fish.

no there is a lot of room in the tank and he usually stays in the same spot on the driftwood i thinks hes just territorial because its only when the other fish come near his spot he goes at em
