I'm in the Otto Club
Just came home with (3) small, and I mean small, ottos. They are about 1-1/4" in length and their bodies are small. Will get some pictures soon and post them in my gallery.

Ok guys, I'm out of the club.
I lost one and have not see the other 2 in 3 days. They couldn't of got sucked up by my filter as it has a strainer. The only option I can see is that my other fish ate them. Is this possible? Fish are cherry barbs, tiger barbs, albino barb, green tiger barb and a black banded leporinus.
I searched high and low to find these. Made numerous trips to the LFS and petsmart to find them. Everytime I went they were sold out. Now they are gone.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Unfortunately, it isn't unusual. Many Otos die soon after buying them because they are not cared for well in stores and the methods used to capture them in the wild are very stressful. So, they are already very weakened and then when you catch them and bring them home it is just too much for them. However, don't give up hope for your second Oto. Otos are great hiders and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he came out of hiding one day. I sometimes go several days without seeing either of my Otos.

I had a black mystery snail go into hiding. Maybe the other two are hiding too, but there's only one place for them to hide at. My tiger barbs were curious with them, but I didn't notice them nipping or anything like that. Keeping my fingers crossed my other two show up.

I may have lost my only oto due to its own stupidity -- I was doing a 25% water change on the 10g, and when I looked in the tank to start adding water back, I saw the oto sitting on a plant leaf that was above the water line. I gently picked him off and put him back into the water -- he swam to the bottom, wiggled behind a plant, and I haven't seen him since.

He's probably just hiding cause you disturbed him when you took him off the leaf. Like I said earlier my Otos will hide for days at a time but they'll always come out sooner or later.
