I have two tanks both tanks have two otos in one tank(tank A) the otos LOVE eating cucumber, in the other tank(tank B) they wont touch it. I boil the sliced cucumber in tank water. I have put cucmuber in the tank 4 times now.
Tank B has more algae it in. Could it be that they are getting enough to eat without anything extra?

Sounds like they are filling up on algae before dessert lol keep trying it, sometimes it takes a while before the little guys figure out it is food.

maybe once every 3 days and take it out after 24 hours so it dosent start to rot and throw your water qualaty off.

they may need more time to realize its food 24 hrs wont hurt anything
