i noticed that if yo have more then one ther more active during the day im getting another one when i bring some of my fry to a lfs...there really cool they like will trade like if i bring a few fry i can get a fish or product or whatever...there awesome guys

They are a Loricate species (member of pleco catfish family) which by and large are more active at night, but there are lots of people who have reported activity at any time. So it basically comes down to the individiual fish, I'd guess.

yeah i know what you mean like at the pet stores there alwyas going then you take them home and they change ...yeah like somedays my ottos is out some hes not ... he like so hang out on the back of my heater

They aren't stricktly nocturnal, they are just more active during lights out then in the day. They can get pretty active during the day though.
