I just got two otos, for my 10 gal tank, How do I know they are getting enough to eat. I see hardly any algae. How do I know if I need to add some algae wafer? or Peas? or some other food?

Add any of what you mentioned, see how much disappears. Adjust your feeding to accomidate how much suppliment they seem to need.

Mine really dont eat anything but algea in the tank - not even really the algea wafers or at least ive never seen them eat it

Thnks for the info, But HOW do I know IF they need more than what is in the tank I dont want to over feed them!

Look at their bellies- they will have a little rounded tummy area when they are getting enough to eat.

Otos pretty much eat and poop constantly. They'll only eat what they need and because they digest so fast and eat only algae and veggies they won't get constipation problems like carnivorous fish.
Wash some spinach or Romaine lettuce really well and put it in the freezer for an hour. Then take it out and put in the tank with a veggie clip made for fish tanks (you can get these at Petsmart or your LFS) I think you can leave it in for at least 24 hours. If they need more food they will eat that. They also like cucumber or zuchinni.
