I'd have to say 300gal for 6 Oscars, although you might be able to go smaller with excellent filtration. With 6 you're more than likely going to get a pair, if not 2, so aggression could be a problem if they spawn and don't have enough room. How big are they at the moment, and what size tank are they in?

agreed with nick, i'd say that you could keep two oscars pretty well in 120 gallons, but for six i'd go with nothing smaller than 300 to account for aggression, two possibly pairing off, size and bioload.

there size isnt so much an issue as juvies, its their waste (bioload) ....what size tank are they in now?

EDIT: 58 gal for 6 juvies is going to be very hard to keep the ammonia down...

Def. a MINIMUM of 300 gal.
6 Oscars is a lot of aggressive fish.
Here's a great site:

I agree with Shawnie, a 300 would be great. The smallest I'd suggest is a 240gal.(96"X24"X24"). Good luck.
