A lot of people feed crayfish (minus claws) to Oscars. So I'd say no.

Plus, I'd hate to see the Oscar get pinched in the face if it got too curious.

When i had my oscars yrs ago they loved crayfish. They would eat 5-6 every week, lol.Mine would eat or at least try to eat anything that entered the tank.

I think the question would be how big of a crayfish are we talking? I'd use the "if it can fit in its mouth" rule here. The other concern would be the crayfish harassing the Oscar at night so I'd want to make sure there is a section of the tank the Oscar has that the crayfish can't access.

crayfish

and if you still go with a crayfish, be sure it has plenty of hiding places...when they shed/moult they are quite soft for a while.....like a crabcake sandwich.
