Well I'm down to one Oscar. The bigger of my 2 has been bullying the smaller quite badly recently, and it got to the point that the smaller of the 2 wouldn't even come out of hiding, and couldn't compete for food. But today the smaller Oscar has gone to a new home, a 90gal all to himself, where he'll be the biggest fish! I'm a bit sad to see him go, but he'll be a lot happier now, and the guy who took him has been keeping fish for many years, and has lots of tanks, so I know he'll be well looked after. And on the plus side my remaining Oscar can now cruise the 90gal by himself with a lot more room!

That's sad to hear, at least he's in a better tank now. are you going to replace him?

Yes, but not with another Oscar. The guy who took him thinks he can get me a couple of Convicts. I've been trying to get Convicts for MONTHS, with no success, so I'll be very happy if he can source me a couple!

He'll be a lot happier in his new tank. I just got back in with 4 Convicts, at last! They're only babys, about 1 inch, so they're going to live in the 20gal Platy tank until they grow up a bit!

I also thought you 'lost' your Oscar Im glad to see that was not the case! Sounds like you did the very best thing for the little one. And congrats on finally getting a hold of some convicts! yeaa! Best of luck with them.

Aw... I've had to give away several fish, and I know how hard it can be. I'm glad you did the right thing for your little oscar.

Got a call from the guy who took him today. He's doing great in his new tank, and feeding properly again. I'm going to go and see him next week. I'm a lot happier now that I know that he's doing well again!
