btw, not trying to hijack your thread.. but... do you think there is any kind of fish I could add to the JD tank? Im wondering if they need some dither fish to help them not be so shy?

hmmm check out silver dollars they are really great looking and are very easy to get along with...they have some good size ones at our LFS ...and u can hijack anyday

I do like silver dollars too. l plan on getting a 100g tank in the spring anyway and the JDs and whomever gets along with them can have the 55.
So the 29 for now can still be a grow out tank.
Ok... Im going to try for those photos now, hubby just went off to the store and I can play with the camera in the living room!

LOL... its too dang cold to go myself! heheh.... So I give him a little list!
Well.. that was uneventful! grrr... little brats.. hiding around the ugly heater, behind a rock.... gawd! I dont want photos with that in them.
So guess until I see them out and about, its just not going to work! I will try again later.
Have fun setting up a new tank for your daughter! thats always fun

feel like a kid in a candy store LOL i love doing new tanks....although I started a new thread to figure out their size, I told the boyfriend I might just have to keep them for myself
