Hole in the Head

My dad has two oscars, and he had some MAJOR issues with Hole in the Head last year. He finally got the disease completely out about five months ago. They both have some pretty severe scars on their heads though, and they don't seem to have healed up very much. Will they eventually heal up on themselves, or is there something that we can use to help them heal faster.

It doesn't seem to bother them, they are both eatting like crazy, and they are both swimming around fine, not laying on the bottom of the tank or anything. But it still worries me.

prestine water, every other day 50 % water changes.., with some prime for water conditioner, vita chem, fresh garlic juice a few tsb once a week...and no more feeder fish or live foods for them unless he raises them himself..have him feed them cichlid pellets, hikari bloodworms, fresh beef heart, wax worms ..but no more feeder fish..and most of all, he needs a bigger tank for both of them...goodluck!

If any of the feeders are goldfish, stop feeding them at once.
Goldfish have an enzyme that causes the fish that eat them not to be able to use Vitamin D.
This, along with the water issues are the main causes of hole in the head.
