I believe that is what they are referring to. Chocolate Cichlid is the common name, as is emerald cichlid, amongst other common names.

They, I believe, are rock spawners. You need to give them a flat surfaced good sized rock to lay eggs on. Generally you want something that is atleast twice the size (width and height) of the fish. Do not be surprised as they lay several hundred eggs. Full grown adults could probably lay over a thousand eggs per spawning.
A small gravel or sand substrate would probably be best for them. The gravel should be smaller than pea gravel, if you use it rather than sand.
I would condition them with live foods (red worms, earth worms, bait worms from a non-contaminated source, crickets, grasshoppers, shrimp (ghost, cherry, or marine shrimp for human consumption eventhough it is not live (it is better than processed.))
