Rescue

It seem latley I have rescued several fish and I am leaving soon to go pick up a JD and an Oscar. I have not had an Oscar in about 9 years. I dont know what kind so I will try to post a photo this evening. Why do people think fish are disposable? These fish were abandoned and the home owner put an ad up for a free tank. The catch was you also take the fish. I am excited and I hope the survive the stress. i have lots od buckets to bring water home so not to stress them too much.

Gotta run

People forget to .... They buy a tank, and since they can't for-see just what it is like, they pick a fish that catches their fancy....

Good for you, sounds like you at least know what you are getting into. Hope the tank is a good size. How many gallons? It is very possible THEY couldn't afford a big enough tank for these monsters, and now you will have to be the one to get it.

A "FREE TANK"? Didn't your mom ever tell you, you NEVER get something for nothing?

Let us know how it works out.

Well the poor fish the tank water is so murky you can't see the fish. It was on an oxford house. Anyway we brought home 20 gallons of the water and toped off the 55 gal. tank with fresh water. We decided that it is going to take some time to improve thier living situation. I will have to place 1 of the Pleco's as one is about 10" and the other is about 14". There is an Albino Tiger Oscar and 2 Jack Dempsey's. Wish us luck as I don't want to post a photo as yet because the water is that bad.

We are seeing to ! That big pleco is just TOO much.

All these in a 55 gallon? WOW, what were those people thinking. You are going to end up getting a really large tank if you want to keep these fish.....Good Luck.
