I have a three inch oscar. How many feeder fish should I feed it per week?

I would only give him feeders as a treat, honestly. I feed mine krill and cichlid pellets normally.

Then, as treats, I'll give him what ever I can get cheap. I don't use goldfish, since they aren't very nutrious. I have a friend that raises various fish and usually gives me some culls for free every month. So, I get all kinds of feeders.

It depends with your oscar. You need also a small goldfish so you may need small fishes.

buy a set of male and female guppys and breed them.... unlimited supplie of baby fish that you can grow up and use to feed it with.

Feeder fish r often full of diseases, so quarantine them before u feed them to your oscar or if possible breed your own,
u can feed your oscar bloodworms, shrimps, prawns, small fish, insects etc.; as much protein as possible.
