Question: Knifefish in 55 gallon

I have a question about my knifefish. I have one Clown Knifefish but was wondering if i could put an African black knifefish in the same tank, or would they kill each other. The tank is a 55 gallon.

Neither fish is suitable for a 55 IMO.

If they are small why not but may have to accomodate/separate as cLown knife will outgrow African knife in no time.

well the clown knifefish has been really happy in the 55 i'm getting a 125 gallon so i can put him in there once i get it but he is really happy right now.

yeah they are pretty small so they should be fine for awhile till i get my bigger tank
