2 inch Baby Whale

This is my Baby Whale. He loves Frozen Krull and really looks like a small buluga whale with its rounded nose. Too cute.

LOL, or the whole house, for that matter!?!

Not sure if you were serious Matt, but it's not related to an ocean whale. They are just called that because of the resemblance. They get up to 8".

Hi Matt & Sharkitty, Actually I have had him for about 6 months and he has not grown much in that time. In fact the LFS told me that they are very slow growing and it would not probably get larger than 4".

they are great fish..and remind me of the ghost knife fish...they like the clear tubes to hide in with a sand/small gravel subtrate...they do best with live/frozen foods and arent a fan of flakes although they will eat it..they arent agressive and dont do well with other agressive fish...they are also ones that can be trained to be hand fed...I had one years ago and they have amazing personalities but are shy fellas with others...mine was 6 years old and grew to 5 inches...nice looking fih bbbizz!
