What fish have lots personality?

My fire eel wasnt eating food and he eventually died. I miss his personality and want another fish with alot of character, perhaps another species of eel, or what other fish do you suggest? I have a 55gal tank with 5 gouramis and 2 small bala sharks.

Thanks, I was actually thinking of getting a koi angel soon but would they do well with gouramis. I have never seen dojo loaches in my LFS.

If you increased your number of Kuhlis they would probably become much more bold. I would get a school of at least 10 and watch them play all day I would not put a koi angel in with your gouramis. I have heard of people having major aggression problems when mixing the two.
