Senegal bichir

Hi,

I pickedup a Seneal Bichir fish last week, and I was just wondering if anybody else has one of these also? I named him Eragon!! He is the neatest guy, I got him cause he was different and just thought he was cute. Of course he'll grow to be about 12in or less. He's about 4in now. A very interesting fish!
I put a link below for ones who dont know what it is.

Oh I love bichirs! They look like snakes and dinosaurs and fish all put together!
I wish I had one, but alas, no room.

I have one, he has so far eaten 1 young cory, 1 dwarf loach and 2 young khulis, hence the new tank being prepared. But he is an interesting fish

Wow! He was just dining away wasnt he! How big is he? Mine is about 5 inches! I have him, Eragon, housed in a 20 gal right now, will eventually move him to the 55 gal. along with the 2 Gold Severum Cichlids & Pearl Gourmai. Big tank is diseased right now Got 3 Angelfish and Silver Dollar that i'm tryin to save from fin-rot! Not havin much luck! I treated the water with meds but havin to retreat again starting yesterday! I messed up on that one......cause one of the Angels wasnt all the way cleared up and yet I did a 25% water change and put carbon in, to filter out the rest of the meds only to wakeup yesterday with more infections on them!! Dang it!!!
