Hi im new to the site and was just wondering if you guys could help me with some research? My local fish store has this weird breed of parrot fish-red devil cichlids. There really cool looking and I was looking into buying one. Does anyone have any experience with these and know if they do ok in community tanks? I've had parrot fish and theyre really peaceful even with much smaller fish, but should i be worried about the red devil coming out in them?

well a parrot cichlid is a hybrid its self, which is believed to be a severum and a red devil if my memmory is correct, does it look different then other blood parrots

Blood parrots as most people would call them are quite peaceful but you must keep them with other cichlids, though there are rare occasions when I've seen them living with goldfish such as orandas, etc. with no prob.
