he about 2 yrs old,,i got him at petco and the salesperson assured me that it would eat flake food...................i wonder how many starved to death because of this,,anyways hes a pain in the rear,,i have to go on earth worm hunting trips in the yard every other day and some times he decides to rearrange my aquarium for me

Can you start a compost pile? It is something you might can check into and use something like red wigglers to do the composting for you.
