Wide Bar Datnoid

This is Scooby, our wide bar datnoid. He is about 5" now. Datnoids have awesome personalities. Too bad they get so darn big.

Sorry if I sound stupid, but is he a saltwater or freshwater fish? How big will he get? He is such a cutie pie!

He is fresh water or brackish. They can get to 2 FT, but it takes a long time for them to get that big.

I love him too. We can hand feed him. He is sketchy like Scooby Doo...he hears a loud sound and takes off and hides, peeking out to see if the coast is clear, lol.
