i just got a ghost knife today and he is realy cool to watch. i have always wanted one but never had the room in my tank. but do to the reasn't loss of my favorate angle i now have the room. by the way my angle died suddenly at three years old and was full grown when i got him, so i think it was old age. if anyone has them and has any knolage that is from experence not book like i have it would be welcom

Angelfish lifespan is 8-12 years, btw.

Ghost knives get to a minimum of 18 inches at full size, and have a medium bioload for their size. A single adult angelfish would not need nearly as much waterspace as a ghost knife would. I wouldn't keep one in anything less than 100 gallons. Reasons being both the amount of water and the size of tank space.

What size tank do you have and what other fish are in there? Ghost knives will eat anything they can get into their mouths, usually.

i'm aware of its needs its in 55g until my 125 is ready. its still quite small and won't pose a threat
