Looks like a likely candidate for electric, or possibly one of the "lungfish".

Neville is correct.

Clarias catfish aka. walking catfish are actually illegal in the areas of the USA that they can survive in, I do believe. They can walk from body of water to body of water, such as ponds, rivers, streams, etc if the original body of water dries up.

They 'walk' on their pectoral fins.

Alright, so my second guess.

Yes, they are very illegal in most of the US. Catfish are very hardy. There are many species that live in the Mississippi, all the way from Minnesota to the delta.

There have been entire bodies of water in New England that have been sterilized because of the potential of one of the fish that possesses lungs (or something like them) and the ability to "walk" having been released in the water. All it takes is two fish (sometimes only one, depending on the manner of breeding) escaping to destroy an ecosystem.

The black version of this fish is a very favorite food in our country, called "Maagur", very tasty indeed, but these albino ones r aquarium fish, very popular as aquarium fish! very hardy but aggressive, that's why they r kept in species only tanks.
