| Oddball neon tetra! Hey all,
I have a school of 9 neons in my tank, and the one has, over the past week, adopted the funniest habits. He lurks in the one shallow cave that I have for my pleco all day, and woe betide any other neon that might drop in for a visit, the loner neon chases him out with much ferocity! The pleco and the loner neon get on fine tho. Every morning he is back out with the other fish, schooling and feeding with them, all seems normal. But, soon enough he finds the cave again and stakes it out for the rest of the day! :-P He usually rejoins the other fish for the evening feed too...
Is this normal? I was worried at first that it might be light sensitivity and maybe disease, but the fish seems quite happy apart from his little eccentricity! |
