hi i have a 29 gallon tank with 2 discus 1 angel 2 bristle nose catfish1 red tailed black shark do you think i could put in a few neons. i can take away a few other to make way for the tetras but i would really like it if i could have the discus and the bristlenose but i still like the angel and red tailed balck shark.

Your 29g tank is severely overstocked at the moment and I would in my opinion not be adding any more fish to that tank regardless of the size fish such as the neons. Besides that, your Angel fish more than likely would snack on the neons.I have cardinal tetras with my Angels and they do not bother them, but I have heard from others that the Angels would pose a danger to the neons.
If I were in this predicament I would look for a larger tank asap or return the Angel fish and one bristlenose pleco and the red tail shark. That would leave you two Discus,and a BN pleco can live in the 29g tank for awhile, but you would soon have to upgrade to a larger tank..

sorry i think i gave the wrong impresion i dont have any fish yet i was just wondering if i could keep neons with 2 discus and a bristlenose pelco/ catfish i dont really want the angel or red tailed shark anymore after what i have heard so thanks

in a few months i will be getting a 100gallon or more tank which i hope to but the discus and maybe a few other fish in.
