it has a white blotch about where its fin is...another one looks like it may have this too, and one died earlier and it had this too. the only thing it could be is fish fungus? its not ich, as far as i can tell.

Sorry you lost the little guy.
Like I said in the other thread, this really sounds like what happened to 2 of my neons.
My LFS advised treating for a fungus, but I lost 2 before I got to the 2nd treatment. The deaths happened fairly quickly after the 'blotch' showed up.
The good thing is, whatever it was did not effect my other 2.

Did you buy all the neons at the same time?

I know they move fast, but could you post a pic, maybe someone can identify it as a fungus and not neon tetra disease.

You might want to put him in a Q tank in case it is spreading.

yes i did buy them all at the same time. i can try to get a pic, but my camera doesnt take high quality pictures

My camer doesn't either and if the blotch is the same as mine had, it might be hard to catch it on camera.
Give it a go tho, maybe someone can help figure out what's wrong.

they all seem to be fine, i forgot to post yesterday that there were 2, not one. i mean, other than the weird blotchy spot, they are doing kind of ok. i gave my fishies a little food and i dont think either of them ate though.
