My husband said he never saw neons that big like mine.
Here they are almost 4 cm. Take into consideration that in photo the neons are closer to camera than the measuring ruler so they apear a little bigger but not much.




One neon in front or ruler and one behind.

They are almost 9 months old in my house and I bought them as the smallest neons in the store. They eat a lot ! They've been through all kind of diseases, God knows they tried them all ..... but now they are fine. Maracyn 2 was the only cure for them. I lost 4 during the process, the bigest I had.

PS: Can they get bigger than my gourami chubby girl ?

I've seen "jumbo neons" for sale at a few stores in my are - believe the signs said they get to be about 2inches.

My neons are fairly large too about 3.5 long,

they seem to be one of the more aggressive fish at feeding times gobbling up everything
- they're chubby too...

Didn't know if this was normal...

They are just well fed and loved

thats normal size for an adult neon i have 16 neons all that size. mine have started to breed but my other fish eat the babies.
