Starting a 6 Gallon FO Aquarium

This is my first ever SW tank, and because im just beginning now, it will be FO, the tank has been sitting about 3 days now, i bought Liquid pH test kit, my pH its between 8.0 and 8.5,gravity its 1.022,going to get the ammonia Test soon, i have Sera Plancton flakes for marine fish, and Denitrol, live bacteria for Saltwater and Freshwater tanks.
I have a dead coral to help keep a good HP, and a fake realistic Soft Coral.
Could you guys say what more do i need? and what good hardy fish could i get for my tank? i was thinking of 2 Damsels, since the the tank is small.Im Going to try to get A protein skimmer too.

Thank you!

well consider my tank its 35cm width , 47cm and 27 cm hight, its a 6,57 gallon tank, almost 7 gallon, i was considering geting only 1 clownfish, but everyone says a 6 gallon its way to small for the fish =\
What do you think of one goby?

I am also starting a Saltwater. Gobys are primary fish you can put in the 6 gallon... I have a 6.6 gallon bookshelf.

I think someone posted that I can have a clown goby in a 6.6 but if you're talking about a ocellaris clown fish I think a 6 gallon would be too small and inhumane...

Hi there, if your measurements are correct you are looking at a volume closer to 11.6 US gallons. I think you will be fine with two ocellaris clowns or a pareid true percula clowns. I personally I think you could even have a couple of gobies of a firefish, maybe even a basslet (royal gramma). Damsels would work, but they will become aggressive, thus maybe one or maybe achromis. If you go with the pair of clowns, I would not put no more than 4 fish total. If you go with the true perculas, I would not put no more than 3 fish. If you decide to put a damsel I would go with the smaller ones (3" or smaller) and put no more than 3 fish (stay on the agressive side). Personally I would put 2 ocellaris clowns a firefish and a clown goby, cleaner or fire shrimp and about 5 hermit crabs (blue legged).
